The Toronto Maple Leafs are officially off to the playoffs, which means it’s a good time to try to get healthy:
While Muzzin and Campbell are expected to be out short term (Campbell will be the backup goalie tonight), the same can’t be said for Ondrej Kase:
…. or Rasmus Sandin:
Even Auston Matthews took a maintenance day off from practice yesterday, but is expected to draw into the lineup tonight.
If the team can get Kase back for the playoffs it will definitely help, but it’s tough not to worry about how easily he sustained his latest concussion. With the added physicality of playoff hockey, it could be a recipe for disaster. His no-holds-barred style of play would certainly be a welcomed addition in the postseason though.
Enjoy the game.
