Not much to report on the game tonight. Things in Leaf Land are pretty boring after the team wins and I like it that way.
Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers will try to outscore Matthews and the Leafs tonight. Considering the Oilers have scored just 1 goal in each of their last two games, I am predicting a pending outburst of offense from that group. At least McDavid always shows up against the Leafs:
I’ll be happy to allow McDavid to continue to score against the Leafs if that win record keeps trending in the same direction.
No line changes tonight, the Buds will continue to roll with 11 forwards and 7 defenders, while Frederik Andersen gets the start against Mikko Koskinen, for the Oilers.
Enjoy the game!! GO LEAFS GO!!
