The title says it all. The team needs a save and the entirety of Leafs Nation is hoping that Jack Campbell can provide it.
This will be Campbells first game back from injury, which has basically been the story of his season. With just 3 games under his belt he has been on the sidelines twice. After beating the Calgary Flames in late January, he was sidelined until late February. After a 1 game return, which resulted in a 4-0 defeat of the Edmonton Oilers, he has been on the sidelines again, this time for the past 9 games. If Jack can stay healthy and play well tonight, it’s possible that management could allow him to string a few starts together.
But first, he’ll have to stay healthy.
