Game #3 – Senators @ Leafs, 7pm (EST)

This team hasn’t changed, if anything they’ve actually sank deeper into their Leafiness.

While I’d love to rant about their insanely terrible loss to the Senators a couple of short nights ago, there’s news to talk about.

Justin Holl will be out of the lineup and it’s just as well, he’s been terrible through the first two games of the year:

Petr Mrazek played 2 periods against the Senators on Thursday, but didn’t return for the 3rd due to a groin injury. It doesn’t appear as if that injury will keep him out long term, but I have to point out that it’s incredibly shocking that a goalie that has a history of injuries is injured again. Kyle Dubas has a wonderful track record when it comes to securing quality goaltenders and has proven that he values depth at the position throughout the organization, which only adds more shock to the fact that they had to sign a random goaltender to a PTO just to have a backup on the bench tonight:

Not to worry Leafs Nation, I’m sure this guy will be ready if they need to call on him. He’s probably been playing a lot of games every wee……. oh fer fuck sakes!!

To top it all off Auston Matthews is still on the sidelines. Let’s hope William Nylander has another big game, because eleven million dollar players John Tavares and Mitch Marner certainly aren’t doing enough to help the team win (never thought I’d say that).

I’m gonna need a few more drinks in order to watch this one.

Enjoy the game, if possible.

GO LEAFS GO!!
