Your Toronto Maple Leafs (11-2-1) return home to take on the slumping juggernaut Montreal Canadiens (8-3-2) tonight and I would expect a better effort this time around from the Habs. They’ve dropped 3 of their last 4 games and have been held to 2 goals or less in all of those games. Are they due, or is this the real them?
As for the Leafs, they’ve won 4 in a row and will look to keep rolling. They sit 1st overall in the NHL and 2nd in points percentage, so all they really need to do is keep working hard and keep things rolling.
Now, for a little news. The Toronto Marlies will return to action soon:

With the Marlies returning to action it looks as if the Leafs will get some of their prospects some playing time in the AHL:
It will be great to see Robertson and Sandin getting regular playing time again. In Sandin’s case in particular, as simply practicing has it’s limits. If you want your prospects to develop they need game action.
Enjoy the game.
GO LEAFS GO!!
